Our classes are a blend of all paths of Yoga influenced by many wonderful Yoga teachers, styles and methods which give everyone a unique and satisfying experience.
All of our classes are based on the philosophy of the yoga sage Patanjali. In brief, Patanjali's Yoga is known as Astanga which means eight limbs. These eight limbs prepare your body and mind for what is called Samadhi or the state of pure bliss. This all comes under the path of Yoga known as Hatha. Hatha Yoga encompasses many ‘styles’ of yoga known today in the western world such as Iyengar, Satyananda and Sivananda etc. To learn more about this, click here.
Our teachers are very approachable, friendly, qualified and professional and are constantly working on their professional development by updating their memberships with Yoga Australia and the International Yoga Teachers Association and attending regular Professional Development workshops.
You will be taught how to practice the many varied techniques and aspects of Yoga, as we pride ourselves on being 'teachers' of Yoga. You can choose from a variety of classes where you will learn how to practice best suited to you and your needs.
