Our perspective on Meditation is: Meditation is a state of being and not a simple activity. It is what one moves into rather than what one does. Although people may hear or read that meditation is the answer to their problems (body & mind etc), there is no technique that is suited to everyone as we are all different and observe things differently etc. However, from the ancient practices and techniques within Yoga, one may find a technique that really suits them and in turn gain the benefits from that technique.
We teach the ancient philosophy & science of the 8 limbs of Yoga as scribed by the wise Yoga sage Patanjali a few thousand years ago. These limbs are: Yamas (5 universal laws of conduct), Niyamas (5 personal cleansing practices), Asanas (poses and movements), Pranayama (breath observation & control), Pratyahara (sense withdrawal, Dhyrana (concentration), Dhyana (contemplation - meditation) and Samadhi (state of bliss).
